As the sun rises
On a fresh brand new day.
Let Hope be renewed
As you go along your way.

It’s said that God’s mercies
Each morning, they are new.
What a beautiful gift He’s given
For me and for you.

Life is but a vapor
We’re here, then we’re gone.
So try not to focus much
On the sad or the wrong.

Learn how to listen
Use kind words when we can.
Instead of being angry
Let grace be our plan.

Looking for goodness
In everyone’s face,
Let’s just see people
Not gender, age, or race.

Let’s put aside our differences
The things that so divide.
I know it is not easy
But what if we tried.

Learn how to love
Forget how to hate.
We can change the world
Into a much better place.
