I woke up with another old song in my spirit this morning, and the words “GIVE UP AND LET JESUS TAKE OVER” kept ringing in my ears. Let him do what only he can. Let him fix what only he can fix. Holding on to what’s trying to drag you down and trying to fix a problem your not equipped to fix, can only lead to despair and a feeling of hopelessness. Keep your eyes open to see him, and turn your eyes from the world in its current state and the circumstances that feel like they can never get better. Jesus said he would NEVER leave us or forsake us but that he would be with us until the end of the world (Hebrews 13:5). He gave everything so that we could live a life and live that life abundantly (John 10:10). It doesn’t have to be complicated, and we don’t have to know everything. What we do need to know, is that Jesus died once and for all, for all of us. He paid every debt and he paid for every disease that could thrown at us (Isaiah 53:5). Go and live the life he promised and stop living a counterfeit. So just give up your need to fix it and just rest in the promise that Jesus has already handled it.
