My Perspective
Do you believe in minimalism?
I do believe in minimalism.
Not the trendy kind — white walls and owning only twelve things.
The deeper kind. The kind that lets your soul breathe again.
Maybe that’s why so many neurodivergent people crave it.
Too much noise. Too many tabs open. Too many obligations, notifications, expectations, piles, decisions, and unfinished thoughts.
At some point you stop wanting more and start wanting peace.
A quieter home. A calmer schedule. A smaller circle. A slower life.
Not because you’ve given up on life — but because you finally want to experience it.
I think minimalism, at its healthiest, is really just learning what matters… and giving yourself permission to let the rest go.
Honestly, I’m still learning.
But these days I find myself wanting less pressure, less performance, less clutter, less stuff — and more room to breathe.
More front porch moments. More meaningful conversations. More music. More rest. More life.
Maybe that’s not minimalism.
Maybe that’s healing.
